Ingredients:
12 oz. cream cheese-softened
1 can crab meat (pick through to remove any cartilage pieces)
Juice of 1 lemon
½ c. whipping cream
½ c. mayonnaise
1T. minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
½ t. Worcestershire sauce
¼ t. Tabasco
Dash of salt
Drain crab meat and marinate in lemon juice for 30 minutes. Drain well. Blend cream cheese with other ingredients with a mixer until smooth. Stir in crab meat. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour to let flavors develop (overnight works best). Serve with assorted crackers, crispy bread rounds, or crudités. Refrigerate leftovers. |
